What is 508 Compliance?
Section 508 is a part of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which requires that electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained or used by the Federal government be accessible to people with disabilities. States which receive Federal funding must also comply with the Access Board standards for Electronic and Information Technology.
How can Graphtech meet these requirements?
Graphtech's staff is trained to meet 508 Compliance guidelines for graphic design electronic and print material. This can be accomplished by creating a pdf to be placed on your website that is 508 Compliant. It is important that customers request the need to be COMPLIANT prior to the start of the design and layout.
